Our Together we are Strong showcase has been rescheduled

Dear reader

Due to the election called by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, we have made the decision to reschedule our Together we are Strong: 10 Years of TDS celebration showcase event. The event will move from its original date on Thursday 4 July and will now take place on Friday 6 September 2024.

We understand that this election is a significant event for our community, and many of our attendees, including local leaders, will be involved. In light of this, we believe it’s essential to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate in both the democratic process and our celebration.

The Celebration Showcase will remain at the same venue and time, starting at 12pm. The event will feature keynote speakers from the world of dementia research, people living with dementia and carers, and uplifting performances from our own dementia choirs.

If you have already registered for the event, your registration will automatically transfer to the new date. However, if you were registered and are now unable to attend on 6 September, please email Fiona at [email protected] so we can release your place to another attendee.

We apologise for any inconvenience this change may cause and share in your disappointment at having to wait a bit longer to showcase our ten-year journey with you. Nonetheless, we remain excited about the event and look forward to a fantastic celebration in September.

Our Birthday Bash will still take place on Thursday 11 July as planned, with an informal party event with music, games and dancing for our members, carers, volunteers and staff members to celebrate our 10^th birthday together.
